Application of artificial neural network model to groundwaterquality assessment and classification

Artificial Neural Network(ANN), an effective method of data processing and way of analysis, is widely used and being perfected gradually. In this article, the traditional output structure of ANN is optimized to make it more robust and the modified ANN is used in groundwater quality assessment classification. Satisfactory results obtained are compared with those obtained with the fuzzy assessment method.
