New method for interval multi-attribute group decision-making with incomplete attribute weights

Shu‐Ping Wan · Computer Integrated Manufacturing Systems · 2009

A new method was proposed for interval multi-attribute group decision-making, in which the weight information was incomplete, the attribute values and the preference information were in the form of interval numbers. The decision matrix with index of attitude was obtained through introduction of attitude indexes of decision makers. After solving the single object programming of minimizing the maximum total deviation between the subjective and objective preference, the weights of the attributes were determined. The group comprehensive attribute values of each alternative and the priorities were achieved by the Order Weighted Geometric Averaging operator(OWGA). A practical example proved that the method was feasible and reasonable.
