Snake Model in Image Segmentation Application

Image Segmentation technique based on Snake Model is one of the successful fields of Image Segmentation, and the research on this technique is also a hot point of Image Processing. Snake Model combines the visual attributes based on the image with priori knowledge of people, and in connects with the different features of different images, constraints the process of Image Segmentation in two aspects of high-level and bottom. With the summarized research of the basic principles of Snake Model and its improved model, in this article, expounded the applications of the Snake Model in the Image Segmentation field.
