A Class of Bivariate Semi-orthogonal Wavelet Packets

In this paper,we give an algorithm for constructing semi-orthogonal wavelet packets of arbitrary integer-valued dilation matrix whose determinantis is 2.These wavelet packets are given in frequence domain.The decomposition coefficients can be get from vary filter banks,therefore we can draw bases for L~2(R~2) from this wavelet packets flexible.This gives us a chance to construct various bases of L~2(R~2) according to any practical problem at hand.
