Application of Wavelet Transform Singularity Analysis to Fault Detecting on Power Distribution Lines

Fault detecting for power distribution lines is discussed based on wavelet analysis singularity measurement. An algorithm is presented. Simulations by means of MATLAB6.5 indicates the robustness, accuracy and rapidity of the algorithm.
