Spectrum Handoff Probability Based on Spectrum Poolingin Cognitive Wireless Network

In order to solve cognitive users frequent switching in the cognitive wireless network,and minimize the number of cognitive users handoff,the spectrum holes model that free time from long to short waiting time is built based on spectrum pooling,and compared to non-queuing model.Then it infers probability formula within a cognitive service request time of arising spectrum handoff,and researches effect that primary user arrival rate and the cognitive user arrival rate take on the spectrum handoff probability,given the probability simulation of spectrum handoff.Simulation results show that this model is better than the random channel selection.
