Data in GIS has its own characteristics ,and it is a crucial problem how to choose appropriate data management pattern according to these characteristics and variable requirements.The article describes several data managementpatterns,compares the relative merits of each pattern,and concludes the method of choosing different pattern in differentcircumstance.
