Research on ontology merging based on FCA

Aim To research on ontology merging based on FCA(Formal Concept Analysis).Methods Two methods based on FCA were applied to merge ontology,the two methods are FCA-Merge and OntEx.Results FCA-Merge follows the direction from the bottom to up and offers a structural description of the global merging process;OntEx combines users' interactions with heuristic idea to finish ontology merging task.Conclusion The method of ontology merging based on FCA can overcome the drawbacks of the traditional ontology merging methods.
