Analysis and Using of Buffer OverFlow on Linux System

Buffer overflow attack is one of the most widely used ways by hacker on internet. This paper begin with the memory management mechanism of Linux system, explains the method of function call on Linux, discusses how the buffer overflow is caused on Linux, and illustrates the whole course of the generation of buffer overflow, then analyzes with examples the ways to use the buffer overflow.
