The agent technology used in geo-spatial information system

This paper introduces the geo-spatial information system and agent technology, and considers that the application of agent to geo-spatial information system is the direction of spatial information industry.A spatial information frame model is brought forward based on mobile multi-agent technique and several vital applications of geo-spatial information system using this technique are illustrated.At last, a monitoring agent Arototyke system is put forward as examples which is widely used in map generalization from spatial information system.
