A METHOD OF REJECTING AUTOMATICALLY ABNORMAL VALUES IN THE VELOCITY-SPECTRUM DATA

Since there are usual abnormal values in velocity spectrum data, rejecting the abnormal value can enhance the precision and reliability of velocity spectrum data and is beneficial to practical uses. In this paper, the auther introduces Grubbs method, t test method in mathematica statistics, and the combination of merits of these two methods to distingush and to reject abnormal values in velocity spectrum data. The results obtained from field data demonstrate that our methods are obviously effective.
