A Model of Sounding Generalization Based on Sounding Data Hierarchy

Based on analysing and referencing the traditional theories and methods of sounding generalizations,we analyse the hierarchy of the sounding data,and study the methods of classification,grading and polymerization for sounding data. On the premise of meeting the specification of the cartographic generalization,we arrange the classification of sounding data based on the significance and character,and reform the employed gradation and structure of generalization methods,then build the mode of sounding generalization based on the hierarchy. This model can achieve the process control of the sounding generalization,and cares the quality requirements of the sounding generalization,so this text can offers the support of theories and techniques for the further applicability of the automatic sounding generalization,with a certain pragmatic value.
