An Image Edge Detection Method Base on Laplacian Operator and Degree of Gray Relation

A new kind of image division technology by combining Laplacian operator and the degree of gray relation is proposed,which takes the transformative Laplacian operator as reference series. The degree of relation of each pixel and its 8-adjacency is calculated to decide whether the pixel is the edge point or not.Through the experiment,this method has received a good effect in image edge detection.Moreover edge information content by adjusting the threshold of degree of relation can be controlled.
