Web service-flow,with its dynamic, distributed and flexible characteristics, makes the online management different from the classical workflow. This management of web service-flow not only should run the service-flow accurately, but also should balance the QoS and the cost of service-flow.The concept of autonomic area was introduced in this paper and the autonomic areas are used to represent the scarce or superfluous area of service in the service-flow.According to the corresponding XML log of the web service- flow,a technique for finding the pivotal autonomic area was provided by dynamic service-flow mining. The pivotal autonomic areas of service-flow were automatically split or merged by agent, which balanced the QoS and the cost of service-flow,and it would give the users nice services.Experiments were done in the prototype of this system, and the change of the service time and cost of cases were discussed, the result of experiments proved the feasibility of balance arithmetic.
