Application of Multi-Layer Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation Method in Debris Flow Assessment
Wang Xue-wu · Journal of Catastrophology · 2004
The authors introduce the application of multi-layer fuzzy comprehensive evaluation to the debris flow and emphasize that the character of the debris flow should be taken into account in selecting evaluation factors and constructing subordinate function. This method is used to evaluate the hazard degree of three debris flow ravines in southwest China where a hydroelectric station is planned to construct. The result of the evaluation is satisfied when it is compared with the result of the field investigation.
