The Application of GIS in the Greenland Management of Shenzhen City

The thesis mainly discusses GIS the application system for virescent bureau of Shenzhen City.The system is based on Windows NT 4.0/Windows98 platform,and uses advanced developmental tools such as Visual Basic 6.0?SQL Server 7.0?Mapinfo MapX4.01?Mapinfo Professional 5.0.It provides friendly interface for the users to operate maps,edit,query,and output statistic reports.It also has some useful exploration and innovation of computer implement technology and method:Using component GIS to develop system;Using key words to link spatial data and no spatial data to realize the integrity operation for the map objects;Using index map to solve the problem of network transmission.
