Design and Performance Analysis of Filter Bank in FMT System

This paper evaluates the synthesis/analysis filter bank in Filtered Multi-tone (FMT) system.The perfect reconstruction conditions of the M parallel sub-channels at the FMT system receiver are derived by filter bank poly-phase decomposition.The diverse types of LPF prototype filters in FMT system are designed and compared respectively.Performance of filter banks,which are implemented by these prototype filters,are presented.Simulation results of filter bank in FMT system are given at the end of the paper.
