On the Cognitive Study of Vague Language in Verbal Communication

Vague language is a common linguistic phenomenon and widely used in verbal communication based on a cognitive basis,which is closely related to human cognitive psychology.This paper will analyze the vague language in verbal communication depended on the theories of cognitive linguistics in order to help people understand the vague language well from cognitive perspective,making full use of the value of the vague language and its important role in communication.
