Shared Memory Communication Technology in MPI System

MPI is the message passing interface,which has become the main stream parallel programming mode currently.Multi-core system made the high performance computing pay more attention to the intra-node processes communication performance.Various intra-node communication protocols and the architecture of two MPI implementations(Open MPI and MPICH2) are introduced,and the communication protocol adopted by the shared memory-based message transfer function of the two MPI implementations is studied.The test results of point-to-point communication performance between SM component and nemesis channel are compared and analyzed,and the optimization strategy is proposed.
