Wireless ECG Monitoring System Based on Bluetooth 4.0

In order to realize fast and real-time interactive ECG monitoring for disease detection and control,a wireless ECG monitoring system solution based on the platform of Android is presented in this paper.The monitoring terminal is designed by MSP430 to achieve ECG signal acquisition,amplification and A/D conversion.CC2540 with low-power Bluetooth 4.0 BLE-Stack is also adopted.The system can transmit wireless ECG data from the monitoring terminal to the smart phone,which is ultimately transmitted to the health records management platform of remote doctors via 3G mobile communication networks,thus offering an interactive mobile health service.
