In the process of simulating social behavior of population with multi-agent modeling technology, the information exchange mode between the multi-agent determines the main method and efficiency of its self-organization and self-learning.On the basis of the behavior law of message spread between people in real society, the process of information exchange between multi-agent was analyzed and the information exchange model based on the information life-cycle theory was built, and the main of the formal methods and express results of information exchange between agents at all stages was given in this paper. The theory of 5W1H in Journalism was imported to define the structure of the message content. The temporal logic theory was used to describe the information exchange requirement,The π-calculus theory was used to describe multi-agents' behavior of information receiving and sending. The fuzzy set theory was applied to express the information filtering, and the Brooks equation was used to explain information absorption. The formalized description and design of the model pave the way to implement the model.
