Application and Achievement of Database Management System Based on Cloud Computing in Colleges and Universities

Cloud computing is a computational model developed from grid computing and is the development of distributed computing,parallel computing and grid computing.Achievement of cloud computing in database management system of colleges and universities is introduced in this paper.According to the scotomata of traditional database management system,Cloud DBMS(Cloud database management system)is proposed.And the vast potential for future development of Cloud DBMS is also elaborated.
