A digital energy control system is a new technology in China.In Three Gorges RCC-cofferdam demolition blasting,42 detonators failed to initiate.Based on the analysis of the problems in using digital detonators,the reasons of failing to initiate were analyzed.Some viewpoints are presented to be used as a reference for similar engineering.
