Value of Study on Semasiology of The Galaxy of Traditional Semantic Annotations(Guxunhuizuan)

The Galaxy of Traditional Semantic Annotations (Guxun huizuan), is precious for study on Chinese semasiology. Focusing on the 168 entries of annotation of hui(回), this article has the exhaustive studies on semantic system,and induces 11 sememes. Among these sememes, some disappeared gradually with the developing of the meaning of the word, some became morphemes which exist in contemporary Chinese disyllabic words. So, these contents sufficiently demonstrate guxunhuizuan's value on studying of Chinese language and compiling dictionary.
