ID3 Decision Tree Oriented Knowledge Reasoning Model and Its Application in Road Network Selection

After introducing the status of knowledge reasoning and the existing problems in automatic map generalization,the way of referencing artificial intelligence technology achievements to improve the intelligence outstanding of automated generalization in cartography was pointed out.Based on introducing the basic principles of ID3decision tree,a new approach of binding ID3decision tree and knowledge reasoning was put forward,which was then applied to select road network automatically.The rationalities were discussed,and an experiment was given.Based on the results of examples,the advantages and shortcomings of this approach were analyzed,and the future research direction was pointed out at last.
