A Demodulation Scheme for the Reconnaissance Receiver

Firstly,the paper introduces the character of the demodulator in a reconnaissance receiver,and a scheme is presented. Secondly,detailed explanations on the timing synchronization and carrier synchronization are provided.Gardner algorithm is applied for timing error detector.Directed-decision algorithm is applied for phase error detector.They are both non-data-aided algorithm.finally,the performance and the development of the demodulator is discussed.
