ANALYSIS OF THE SEMANTIC MEANING OF THE SENTENCE PATTERN "BU + V + LIAO

Bu + V + Liao ( not + V + any more) is a sentence pattern with many different meanings: the meaning of decline, plan and change, but each has its own syntactic and semantic characteristic. This paper analyses the differences in the semantic meaning and the differences in grammar of the sentence pattern, and finally, sums up the general law of usage of the pattern.
