There are two forms of the concurrence of adverb and bu. One is bu+degree adv. + adj. ,the other is degree adv. +bu+adj. The adv. s of the former are generally deep and absolute ones and its semantic meaning is to weaken the deep degree. Its adj. s are generally positive and pragmatic meaning is courteous. But most adv. s can enter into the latter form. Its adj. s are also generally positive . When adv. is deep, the form is to stress negation and its pragmatic meaning is acid. When adv. is shallow ,its pragmatic meaning is courteous.
