Exploration of Network Security Experiment Teaching Based on Virtual Environment

Network security experiments are often aggressive and destructive to the system,need to have special operating envi ronment.Installing virtual machine software in general computer lab can build a virtual environment for network security experi mental teaching.After discussing the network connection mode of VMware software,two typical teaching cases are giving: detect weak passwords of operating system,network vulnerability scanning.A lot of practices have proved that,the steps and feeling of virtualized network security environment are consistent with real environment,the demand of experimental teaching of most uni versities and vocational schools could be satisfied,and teaching effect is significant.
