A heterogeneous reconfigurable cognitive radio platform and its design method

With the growth of future wireless networks,there will be a crisis of spectrum availability under the current spectrum allocation scheme.Cognitive radio is able to sense the spectrum,makes cognitive users share the spectrum with the licensed users on a non-interferencs basis and improves the spectrum utilization.In this paper,we propose a cognitive radio system architecture based on SoC and discuss its design on a heterogeneous reconfigurable radio platform.This platform can be used to realize the adaptation required by the cognitive radio.
