An Overview of Three Wireless Protocols

Bluetooth(IEEE802.15.1),ZigBee(IEEE802.15.4),Wi-Fi(IEEE802.11) are three popular protocol standards of wireless communication.From the angle of application,Bluetooth technology intends to replace the cables connecting devices,ZigBee to build up reliable wireless monitoring and control networks,while Wi-Fi to substitute for PC's cabled networks.These popular wireless communication standards are studied,and their main features are compared,including transmission rate,power consumption and security.
