Novel Application of ICA:Image Filtering

A novel method of image filtering is proposed using the independent component analysis of the characteristics.The original image and the overall translation with a row to the right of the image are regarded as an Independent Component Analysis(ICA) observation signal.Strong correlation between these two images of the matrix of information for analysis can be sharpening images.ICA shows that it has a high pass filtering performance.Computer simulation experimental results show that this method to extract sharpening image with strong lays of graphics and high location accuracy is an effective filtering method.
