Research on application of WLAN and RFID combined system

A so-called WLAN+RFID system is introduced.Its working principle and its application in freight yard operation are elabo-rated.The system(WLAN+RFID combined system) could provide users with fast,flexible and mobile tag identification service by making useof WLAN transmission and non-touch automatic identification feature.System workingfrequencies allocation,its modulation technique,terminal roaming,and information security are analyzed.It is noted that information security of the whole system relies on WLAN.Therefore there is no need to have data encryption on RFID and a tight security measure is implemented in WLAN.
