Comprehensive Evaluation of Intrusion Detection Systems Based on Fuzzy Methods

The current techniques of intrusion detection are first analyzed.Then combining the methods of fuzzy mathematics and hierarchical analysis,the authors provide a novel approach to comprehensively evaluating the performance of intrusion detection systems.This approach is applied to restrict the subjective factors that influence the evaluation and thus can improve the accuracy and reliability of the evaluation result.And the effectiveness of this measurement is verified by an experiment.
