Implementation and Performance of DDS-Based General Radar Waveform Generator

The basic architecture of DDS for radar waveform generating is described in the paper,and the inverse sinc filter used to compensate amplitude unflatness of wideband waveform generator is discussed also. A general waveform generating method based on DDS is presented,its performance is analyzed,and the experimental results are given. The quality of the generated waveform shows that the method can be used for practical radar system.
