An Improved Iris Boundary Location Algorithm

Iris boundary location is an important part of iris recognition system.Accurate,speed of location and robustness of the lo cation algorithm are key factors.In this paper,an improved method is proposed to make up for the deficiency of conventional loca tion algorithm,using the gray distribution features of eye images,setting related parameters reasonably,completed the location of in ner boundary and outer boundary.The experimental results demonstrate that the localization results of proposed algorithm are mor accurate and rapid than any classical algorithm.
