A New Design of X-band Frequency Synthesizer

A new design combining direct frequency synthesize and phase locked synthesize is proposed by comparing several frequency synthesize methods. The X-band Frequency Synthesizer has the features of high suppression ( - 75 dB); broad output frequency bandwidth (600 MHz) and low phase noise ( - 95 dBc/Hz@lkHz). It also has the advantages of lower power consumption, smaller size and lighter weight.
