RSVP Active Network Load-mechanism Triggered by PATH-message
Depei Qian · Jisuanji gongcheng · 2006
A new mechanism is presented to deal with the dynamically added non-RSVP nodes. When a periodical PATH message arrives an active node where RSVP is not deployed,it will trigger a RANDP(RSVP Active Network Deployment Packet) request-packet.The RANDP request-packet triggered will reach an active node on which RSVP is deployed. The node responses to the RANDP request-packet with a RANDP deploy-packet.Consequently,RSVP can be loaded into the newly added non-RSVP-enabled nodes. The architecture and implementation of RANEE is designed. The formats of the RANDP request-packet and the RANDP deploy-packet are defined. The bandwidth-consumption of this new mechanism is analyzed.
