Histogram Image Retrieval Based on Spatial Information

By considering distribution difference within the same gray level pixels, a average area histogram method is proposed which integrates spatial information. The experiment shows that this method can distinguish images with similar color distribution but different spatial distribution, especially be effective for the texture images.
