On the Experiments Designing for Data Compression Coding in Transformation Domains Based on Matlab

Experiments,as one important sector in teaching procedure,is beneficial to students on reviewing what they have learned in class,and can strengthen the ability to solve practical problems by the application of their knowledge.Transform coding,as one of the essential theory included in the course of Data Compression,has a variety of application in speech and image compression and its principles are so abstruse that appreciate experiments are needed to reinforce teaching effects.Hence,Matlab should be used in the design of such projects because of the characteristics of having the easiness to understand and profound source of functions on information processing.
