Research and Implementation of the Database of Grid Planning Management Information System

Power grid planning work is facing with the problems of basic data management.Combined with the present status of information systems in power grid companies,a method for database design of grid planning management information system was proposed in the paper.With the systematic analysis method and system integration mind,the flows about how to process all kinds of data in the planning of management information system were also provided.By applying the above results,the basic database and its advanced functions has been constructed.The practical application in Guangdong Power Grid Corporation shows the proposed method can integrate the existing data resources effectively,and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the basic data for planning,so as to supporting advanced planning function efficiently.
