A research on integrated management in large-scale topographic mapping

Xiaohong Wu · Cehui kexue · 2011

This paper explored the application of the integrated project management approach to large-scale topographic mapping in order to improve the overall efficiency.Based on the characteristics of the large-scale topographic mapping, the paper built a network planning model which combines the cost, schedule and quality of surveying and mapping project.Genetic algorithm was introduced to solve the optimization problem of the integrated network model. With project risk assessed by BP Neural Network, the paper proposed an integrated project management approach in which such factors as cost, schedule, quality and risks were taken into full consideration. The integration of risk factors into the other three elements had practical significance in integrated mapping project management.
