Research of lossless compression on NC format data of meteorology

A lostless data compression algorithm is proposed, which applies minus computation between close time span data on account of regulation, applies minus computation again between near points of the same span data, thus value 00 or FF may occur in storage as much as possible; it applies WinRAR tool to compress data lostlessly. The experimental result illustrates that this method can improve lostless compression ratio effectively.
