The Establishment of Operational Security Index System for Terminal Area Airspace System

Security is the eternal theme of civil aviation transportation. Assessing the operational security of terminal area airspace system can show its operation security level. The establishment of the index system is the basis and prerequisite for security assessment. According to current operation characteristics of Chinese terminal area airspace system,the air traffic management system,airline system and airport system,and other main influencing factors are analyzed and summarized to establish the index system. Analytic hierarchy process and interval estimation method are used together to optimize the index system by excluding the weak index which has less impact on the whole system. The establishment of the system enables managers and users to discover the hidden safety trouble and formulate corresponding measures so as to improve the operation security of the whole system.
