An image denoising method based on PCNN

This paper presented a novel method of image pet and salt noise removal.By taking advantages of PCNN and neighbour average method,this paper created a hybrid filter,compared with the median filter in reducing noise of an image and proved that this method is effective on suppressing noise as well as preserving image edges originating from intensity discontinuities.
