Improvement and Performance Analysis of Slippage Correlation Acquisition for DSSS Signals

A better method for direct sequence spread spectrum(DSSS) receiver to decrease the acquisition time is proposed.Based on the traditional slippage correlation acquisition,adding an external circuit for reference makes the positive-negative maximum of the merit of correlation.Dual-judgement uses the positive-negative threshold based on the two maximum values.So the probability of alarm and acquisition time are decreased without increasing complexity of the system.The availability is proved by simulation.The data from experiment show that the method is more efficient in low SNR.
