Lan Ju · Communications technology · 2007
With the fast enlargement of Internet scale, the traffic increases steadily, and the router has become the bottleneck of network progress. Switching network is the uppermost factor in restricting router capability and performance. In this paper, the development of large packet switching network is analyzed, the factors in affecting their scalable performance are discussed in detail. And on the basis of providing new switching technology, the future development trend is pointed out.
