Based on the component technology and concept,the water source and water quality information system for Huangshi City is developed and established with VB+MO.With this system,not only the basic functions such as data input,map-layer management,roaming display,ploting of specific map etc.are implemented,but the applicable functions of water resources data management,statistic reporting,assessment and analysis,water quality prediction etc.are also realized with the features of high-pressured module,friendly interface,easy extension and simple operation;which provides an effective means for the management of water source and water quality of drinking water in Huangshi City.
