Retrieval to image database based on color features with pyramid construction

In order to describe the features to a color image more simply and accurately, a region-based color histogram approach is pro- posed. It focuses its attention on the center of an image, segments an image into several blocks with pyramid data structure, and builds an integrated color histogram composed with subregion color histograms. This integrated color histogram overcomes the disadvantage of simple global color histogram.
