Good Congruences on Perfect Rectangular Bands of Adequate Semigroups

This paper is to study good congruences on perfect rectangular bands of adequate semigroups.After obtaining some characterizations of good congruences on such semigroups, we establish a structure theorem of good congruences on perfect rectangular bands of adequate semigroups.Moreover,it is proved that the homomorphic images associated to certain maximal good congruences of perfect rectangular bands of adequate semigroups are of the same kind.
